First Trail Work Day Scheduled for Saturday April 13
April 5. 2013
So everyone had a great riding season this year. The trails are closed. The sleds are put away. But you still feel a little sad and possibly depressed that the season is over.
WELL WE HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS! Next years season starts just over a week from now!
We will be continuing trail work that we started last year along Corridor 19 in Milan and Dummer.
Our first project involves cutting back some alder trees along the trail near Rt.110A in Dummer. We will then relocate to State Garage Road and start taking apart the old bridge that needs to be redecked.
Materials to bring: Please bring your own snacks and drinks and work gloves. If you have an ATV, you can bring it along. We will have at least one ATV and trailer to carry tools into the work sites. If you don't have an ATV, the distance to the work sites is not that far.
Meeting Info: Meet at 8:30am on at the White Mt. Ridge Runners clubhouse on Rt. 110 in Berlin, NH - across from Jericho Motorsports about 3 miles west of Berlin center. We will be leaving the clubhouse at 9:00am to head to the work area.
Free accommodations are available for Friday and Saturday night for anyone coming from out-of-town.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THIS WORK DAY!
