STEWARTSTOWN -- Benefiting from a banner snow year in New Hampshire and much of northern New England, the Swift Diamond Riders Club's 22nd annual N.H. SnoDeo is just one week away. The snowmobile community has been energized by the 2013-14 season and is poised for strong sales for the 2015 model year.

The boost to those spring season sales will start in Coleman State Park March 7 and 8 with the 2014 SnoDeo. The SnoDeo is known as the first place in the Northeast where snowmobilers can test ride the next model year snowmobiles and that doesn't change this year, despite scheduling the event a week later than normal.

Three major snowmobile manufacturers: Arctic Cat, Ski Doo and Yamaha will all once again be represented with opportunities to try out 2014 and 2015 snowmobiles. This year, the newest snowmobile manufacturer, Phantom, will offer test rides of their entry-level sleds through their only northern New England dealer, Phantom Powersports of Nashua.

Two exciting and popular attractions return to the SnoDeo this year. Rave X Performance's freestyle show will be Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. and the radar runs will be back on Little Diamond Pond, sponsored by Camoplast Solideal. Also returning to SnoDeo will be the N.H. National Guard with a large display of military equipment, including a Blackhawk helicopter; weather permitting. The Guard will also once again sponsor the NH National Guard Mess Tent. CR Helicopters returns with helicopter rides to benefit the Swift Diamond Riders Club. Also returning to the event will be Profile Powersports, Absolute Powersports, Jericho Powersports and the Ride Lite.

SnoDeo introduces two other new sponsorships this year: The North Country Ford Vintage Tent which houses the vintage and antique snowmobile display, and the Plum Creek Mall Tent; a heated tent designed for vendors with snowmobile related clothing and accessories, travel opportunities, realtors and other outdoor related businesses. An exciting addition to SnoDeo is a display by the University of Maine Society of Automotive Engineers Chapter-Clean Snowmobile Project.

The Swift Diamond Riders Club is a snowmobile club based in West Stewartstown. The club boasts nearly 800 members. The SnoDeo is named one of Snowgoer Magazine's "Top 10 must experience snowmobile events" in the U.S. It benefits the club for trail maintenance, as well as other club activities that promote snowmobiling in the North Country.
