Stark Public Hearing Set for Saturday April 9th

The Stark Selectmen have set a public hearing date for Saturday April 9th at 6:00pm at the Stark Fire Department building.

The public is welcome but only Stark residents and landowners will be allowed to vote to allow ATV access on local Stark road for the 2016 season.

Last year the Town allowed ATV access on certain roads subject to conditions which were posted at the borders of Stark.

The local Milan Trail Huggers club hopes to have the roads open again this year.  Trail Master Larry Gomes attended the Selectmen's meeting on February 17th and asked for the hearing.

He told the Selectmen the club is asking for the same roads to be opened up as last year and also promised an update on the club's efforts to get an East/West trail through Nash Stream State Forest.
