NORTHUMBERLAND — The selectmen will hold a 6 p.m. public hearing next Monday, June 9, in the municipal office building at 10 Station Square to discuss a proposal to open up ATV-OHRV access to specific streets within Groveton Village, including, but not limited to, Melcher, Main, Arlington, State, and Preble Streets as well as Station Square.
The board will listen to comments, concerns and questions and then hold its regularly scheduled biweekly meeting afterwards.
The selectmen voted, 2 to 1, at their May 27 meeting to open Page Hill Road that connects Groveton to Lancaster back up for one year, with self-patrol and monthly reports to the board about any issues, according to the draft minutes. Chairman Jim Weagle made the motion in front of an overflow crowd, seconded by Jim Tierney
